Marathon #43: Split Marathon

Marathon #43 – the first of a back-to-back weekend marathon adventure – was run in Split, Croatia! This was the 25th anniversary of the event, and it proved to be a fun and faster than expected run for me.

As always, I celebrated the finish with a local beer and some fries!

I’m going to London

NB: I originally drafted a version of this post in early 2020 after I applied to run the Boston Marathon for a charity – and I was not selected to receive a charity bib that year. The London Marathon is one of the hardest marathons to get into. Approx 53,000 people run it, from professional…

Marathon #26 – where I’m about to do it again

I’m currently staring down the 2018 edition of the Cayman Islands Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay, and I’m on the verge of upgrading my registration to the full marathon. I’m doing ‘it’ again – ‘it’ being the whole ‘signing up for a marathon the week of the event with not really having trained for/factoring in…
